Precision Planting's RateController allows you to control either a Precision Planting or John Deere hydraulic motor powered seeding systems on planters.
Multiple motors on the same implement? No problem. The 20|20 system allows you to add as many RateControllers as needed to control each of your motors.
Have a ground drive system? Convert your planter with our easy to install hydraulic motor and pair it with RateController.
Fertilizer Control
Take control of granular or liquid fertilizer on your planter. From hydraulic to electric motors with PWM valves, RateController gives you accurate rates based on a shaft speed sensor or flow meter. Let RateController automatically make adjustments for speed changes or allow the operator to make in-cab adjustments on the go. Powered by the 20|20 monitor, this simple rate control system can pair with additional sensors and other controllers, like a swath control module, to maximize the consistency of your liquid fertilizer, giving your crop the most consistent rate of fertilizer that you can.
Variable Rate and Prescriptions
The RateController is a versatile tool that can also be used to execute implement-wide variable rate prescriptions for either seeding, liquid fertilizer, or dry fertilizer. For more precise liquid control, the RateController can be paired with vApplyHD or EMHD for either section or row-by-row control. Additionally, you'll be able to change rates from the 20|20 in the cab and control on/off applications based on coverage maps or variable rate maps. Closed-loop control ensures the desired rate is achieved.
Pair with SwathModule for Added Control
Gain planting data and swath control when you pair RateController with SwathModule and a Gen 3 20|20. Plant singulated crops and apply granular fertilizer with accuracy through detailed metrics in the 20|20.
Fertility System
Add vApplyHD for Row-by-Row Control
The vApplyHD system uses a RateController plus control modules on the toolbar. The modules on control flow, measure flow, and swath all in a single device. These same modules can be configured in either section control or row-by-row control.
