Your MeterMax technician can diagnose the source of meter errors by detecting error patterns in vac and finger meters.
Just a few years ago, we put up with meter accuracy of 95%, 96% and with the right seed, maybe even 97%. But today, there is no reason to head to the field with meters that are less than 98.5% accuracy. That difference can make you $5 for every percent improvement in accuracy.
How do you know how well your meters are running? The MeterMax System and your Precision Planting dealer is the answer.
The MeterMax System is a simple way to measure the ability of your meter to singulate seed. We mount your meter in the stand, fill it with the type and size of seed you plan to plant, and then record the performance based on your population and planting speeds.
Introducing our new MeterMax Ultra. This new test stand is lighter, more compact and more flexible than the industry standard – the MeterMax Plus. With the Ultra, we have eliminated the seed belt. Originally this fifty-cell belt was used to visually count the number of errors. Then we added sensors along the belt to automate the counting and increase the number of seeds we counted for more accuracy. Now, we have replaced the belt with two specialized sensors along the seed tube. That means we can count small seeds that used to fall into the holes of the belt, and we can count high population crops such as soybeans.
The Ultra handles all meter types with a single direct drive bay. No chains, no sprockets. It also has a built-in vacuum for use on CNH, White and Deere meters.
Just 70 pounds so it can travel from the shop to the field.
MeterMax Ultra uses the 20/20 SeedSense Display as it’s brain – simplifying the operation and analysis for each customer, meter and seed type.
