Precision Planting, Inc. ("Precision Planting") respects your privacy. Precision Planting provides this Privacy Policy so you know about Precision Planting's user information practices and understand how Precision Planting treats the information we receive about you from your use of this application (the "Application"). By using and/or accessing this Application, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. Use of this Application is strictly voluntary. If you do not agree to the Privacy Policy and End User License Agreement, you must immediately terminate the Application and you may not use the Application.
The Information Precision Planting Collects
Precision Planting may collect personal information including, without limitation, information about your location using devices internal or external to the iPad ("Location Information") as well as data provided by you, Precision Planting, or third parties during use or operation of the Application or resulting from your use of the Application ("Field Information").
The Way Precision Planting Uses Information
Precision Planting may use Location Information and Field Information data for maintenance and improvement of the Application. Precision Planting may share your Location Information and Field Information with third parties if and to the extent necessary to provide the services you request. Precision Planting may share your Location Information and Field Information with third parties for other purposes (e.g., correlating Field Information with other Field Information, correlating Field Information with other data, and making improvements to the Application) in a fashion which Precision Planting determines will not personally identify you with the same; for example, by removing your personally identifying information or by aggregating the Location Information and Field Information with other data.
Precision Planting may also use your personal information for marketing and research; providing product, promotional and other information to you; and to contact you regarding administrative or other notices.
Precision Planting may disclose personal information in any of the following circumstances: (1) in response to a subpoena, search warrant, court order, or other legal process or request, or as may otherwise be required by applicable law or regulation; (2) to protect and defend Precision Planting's rights or property or those of its affiliates, dealers, business partners, or others; or (3) as Precision Planting, in its sole discretion, believes is appropriate under exigent circumstances in response to a perceived threat to the personal safety or property of any person or organization.
In addition, since Precision Planting's database is a business asset, in the event Precision Planting is reorganized or is sold to or merged with another company, you consent to the sale, assignment, or transfer of your personal information to a purchaser of all or substantially all of Precision Planting's business assets, or to an affiliate, as applicable.
Processing of your Personal Information
Data stored through this Application is currently hosted on servers located within the United States, but the locations of Precision Planting's servers may change from time-to-time. Your personal information may be stored on servers located within the United States, or in another country.
BY SUBMITTING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO PRECISION PLANTING, YOU ARE CONSENTING TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IN THE UNITED STATES OR IN ANY OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD.
Retention of your Personal Information
Precision Planting keeps your personal information as long as Precision Planting needs it for the purposes for which it was originally collected (or to which you have subsequently consented), for other legitimate purposes (such as regulatory compliance), or as permitted by applicable law. Since some of these activities may continue for an extended period of time, Precision Planting may keep your personal information indefinitely.
Precision Planting's Relationship to other Services that can be Accessed through this Application
This Application may contain links to other services not owned or operated by Precision Planting, such as web sites or other applications. Precision Planting does not review or monitor such web sites or applications and is not responsible for the contents or privacy policies related to any other web sites or applications. Where this Application contains a link to another web site owned and/or operated by Precision Planting, such web site use may be subject to different and additional terms of use and privacy policy terms and conditions.
Access and Correction of your Personal Information
Precision Planting strives to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the personal information in its databases and to keep that information up-to-date. Precision Planting provides ways for you to access your personal information as required by applicable law, so that you can correct inaccuracies or update your personal information.
